Orbita Display was designed by Melbourne Branding Designer Madeline Denys for the well versed typographer wanting a polished workhorse for editorial work in publication design for Melbourne's high end property market.
With its tall x-height, symmetric contrast, and narrow proportions, the elegant face is inspired by traditional 18th Century stone carving seen on gravestones of that era.

The Joy word mark its self is artfully elevated by its own bubbling flourishes, to depict the bubbling Joy of getting together with friends celebrating the ultimate joy of Births, Weddings, Anniversaries and any momentous occasion. The piece which is hand drawn in pencil by Type and Lettering Designer Veronica Grow took many draughts to perfect. The style is a showy and luxurious formal Advertising Spencerian Script.
