About The Event
OSNS owes its high scholastic standards to one of its most treasured learning resources which is an exceptional library of rare Typography Books, gradually collected from all over the world. We are looking forward to opening up the amazing OSNS letterform archive to share this resource with keen typography lovers on Saturday 15 February. This is such an amazing opportunity for those who are seriously Interested in discovering more about Type Design, Calligraphy, and Lettering for you won't find a library like this in Australia.
I will be sharing the rich typographic archive of OSNS by allowing small groups of serious type and lettering enthusiasts to investigate and photograph the rare original printed matter within OSNS Type Library. Take advantage of this opportunity to sit at length and examine remarkable books both vintage and current, type specimens and vintage magazines collected from all over the world. These carefully curated books are extremely rare, and the collection is unsurpassed in Australia.
If you have any type questions, backgrounds and connections of the type lettering and calligraphy can be explained by Veronica Grow. As the printed matter is rare and precious there is a maximum number of 7 attendees. The participation fee covers snacks and tea and coffee.
